Hajj and Umrah Visa Requirements
What you need to know about visas

- A passport valid for at least six months from the date of application
- Completed visa application form with recent photograph
- Confirmed flight bookings and travel itinerary
- Confirmed hotel and package reservations with your agency
- Valid vaccination certificates, including Meningococcal (ACWY)
- For Hajj: a pilgrim card, plus proof of relationship for women travelling with a Mahram
- Proof of funds or a sponsorship letter where required
Processing Time
Visa processing usually takes between 1 and 3 weeks. During the Hajj season it can take longer, so apply well in advance.
Important Notes
- Visas can be rejected if documents are incomplete or incorrect, so double-check everything before submission.
- Tourist and Umrah visas may be valid for multiple entries - check which type applies to you.
- Never overstay your visa. Extend it through official channels if necessary.
- Your agency normally processes the visa for you - confirm the timeline before booking flights.
